i dont know which panda is more extinct the red or the giant and i need to know for a project.

The red panda is more slightly more endangered in the wild, but it is much easier to breed in captivity than the giant panda. Over 300 red panda cubs have been bred in captivity in the last 20 years, on the other hand Giant Pandas have only successfully bred about 60 times in that same time period. For long term survival, it seems that the Red Panda has better chances, even if it is only in captivity.

according to the numbers on wikipedia, it looks like the giant panda is more rare in the wild, but there are a lot in zoos. not so much with the red panda. hope that helps.
