Is it crazy to love your hamster like a dog?

I love my hamsters sooooo much! I have never ever seen such intelligent hamsters as mine. They have the behavior of a dog. I swear. you can tell when they look at you that they are intelligent. Also, mine are just SO cute! i spend all the time i can with them and i can't get enough, i love them to pieces! If anyone is interested, i can send you pictures : ) They are a panda bear ( the mom) and her daughter is brown and white but twice as big as she! They are SO adorable!!!!

OF COURSE NOT! believe me, when i got a guinea pig i treated it like my own child! and i completely understand, they're irrestistable! so dont worry, you're soo not crazy. my aunt loves her snake soo much that she has family portrates with it!

OMG! I'm the same way......people think I'm crazy lol, but I can care less. I have a gerbil, and a pet mouse, and they mean the world to me. I'm only 14, and my Mom won't let me get a dog or cat, because she thinks it will make the house smell.....ya, I know, stupid! I always tell her thats not true, but she does not listen, and she is cheap, so that won't work. Small cage pets are the only ones I'm allowed to have. I spend a lot of time with them, and I even get them Christmas gifts, and Birthday presents! =D I want to take professional portraits of them, but I my Mom definetly will not pay for that, so I just take them myself. I would love to see your pics, just post them. I'm sure everyone else will want to see them too =)

Not crazy at all . And yes, they are intelligent. All animals are more intelligent than most people give them credit for. I just heard on NPR that they put a strong microphone down an ant hole (can't think what kind) and the ants were so obviously talking to each other.
